October’s Adieu

As spooks and goblins roam the streets, October’s a wrap. The witches and Jacks will sizzle and fade, or get stuffed in big dusty boxes ’till next year. There’s a month of respite before the Santas and elves appear. If we’re lucky.

But bless our chills & spills loving hearts – the wickedly impish parts of ourselves that so love this season. Now we can box them up, too.

Halloween night is a cozy one, filled with our favorite films, buttered popcorn, and the scent of pumpkin spice. And candy corn. Our spooky classics include ‘Ship of Ghouls’ – a charming 1978 episode of The Love Boat, guest-starring none other than the ueber wicked Vinny Price. Next is The Haunted House – a creepy comedy two-reeler (1921) by our Buster. And we polish off the evening with It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. Naturally.

Happy Halloween.

‘Till next time.
