There was a long and steady rainfall, and then it was gone. Now the air is thick with moisture – all very strange for this hot and arid clime. Swimming in the air is not a skill we learn here as children.
And time’s gotten away from me lately. The day has no sooner begun than ended, and half-dreaming at night my mind continues on with the day until I pause to remind myself to sleep. It’s okay to sleep.
It was a restful summer. Returning to new design projects is joyful now that the well is full again. It reminds me of the importance of knowing what nourishes your soul – what fills you with goodness until it’s brimming?
