Days of Books & Pumpkins

I’ve been devouring books of late. Every spare moment of the day. In between all the must-dos of life, I read. And read. The soft golden glow of autumn permeates every room, and the afternoon light is especially beautiful. It’s a warm invitation to lose yourself in a book, a story, a faraway time and place.

We’ve been enjoying the beautiful fall weather. Warm days, crisp cool nights. The new hedges are growing quickly. There’s still much planting to do, but my knees are slowing the process down. Fortunately, autumn is nearly three months long here, and there’s no need to rush.
