Hello!

I’m Sosae, and Apple Cider Lane is my creative journal. I have a passion for cross stitch, quilt blocks, and crochet. I’m also an avid gardener, bookworm, cookbook collector, and all-around cheerful introvert. (Yes, introverts can be quite cheerful.) I love Elvis, Buster Keaton, cats, homemade cake, hot coffee, pretty teacups, and silent film.

My favorite person in the universe is Mr. C., my husband and design partner. Together we’ve authored Kawaii Craft Life (Running Press,) Cute Kawaii Cross Stitch (David & Charles,) and the adorable Kawaii Cross Stitch Kit (RP Minis.) Our pattern company, Trellis & Thyme, keeps us busy as bees, and features over 220+ instant-download cross stitch, feltcraft, and quilt block patterns.

Apple Cider Lane is where I come to slow down and smell the cinnamon. It’s a quiet place, pretty as pie, and filled with inspiration. I hope you’ll visit with me often as I share my thoughts and stitchwork, as well as our latest patterns, projects, kits, and books.
